How long does it take to build a website?
It can be as little as two weeks to design and build your website and sometimes up to eight weeks or more. It all depends on the type of website we are creating for you. The average time is 4-6 weeks from initial chat to a live website. As part of the initial consultation and proposal we will provide you with a time estimate to complete your project. Every project is fully planned and managed with key delivery milestones so we all understand what is needed and delivered and when.
Who owns the website once created?
Essentially you own the website. As part of our standard agreement we grant you a licence to use any of the code used in the creation of the website. You can host the website wherever you want and use anyone to work on it (although we hope you use us!).
Can I choose where to host the website?
Absolutely. Unlike some other agencies we have no interest in trying to tie you down to using our servers or specific services. We will happily recommend our preferred hosting suppliers or, if requested, can host the website for you. We ask that you create all services in your / your business name so you have full control.
Can you look after the website for me?
Of course! We offer a range of optional maintenance services designed to suit all types of clients which cover the updates, security and optimisation of the site. They also include some support time for making small changes. If you want to manage the site yourself ongoing we show you how to do that too.
Will I be able to easily make changes?
Yes, our aim is to leave you as completely self sufficient as possible in owning and operating your WordPress website. WordPress makes it super easy to edit and create content on your website. We provide full training on site editing as part of all website projects.
Is WordPress the best option for me?
A great question and the only real answer is maybe. Obviously we specialise in WordPress and think it is probably one of the best, most flexible platforms out there. As part of our initial consultation we will discuss the pros and cons of WordPress to make sure it fits with your needs. Should you / we decide it is not the best fit we can recommend alternative options for you.

A common misconception is WordPress is inherently insecure, this is not true. WordPress is constantly tested and updated on a regular basis to ensure it is secure.
